Stallion Services

We are currently taking applications for the 2026 season with only 2 stallion stalls left!

Stallion Standing $850/month

  • Includes a 16×45 run with shelter and adequate feed, hay & alfalfa to keep the stallion in healthy condition. 
  • Deworming included.
  • Collection and breeding schedule management included.
  • Stallion contracts, mare owner management and book keeping included. 
  • Clean out collections, phantom training, equine maintenance such as farrier, dental, veterinary work or vaccinations charged to stallion owner. 

Haul In Management $350/month

  • Good for stallions in continuous training.
  • Collection and shipping is charged to the mare owner. Semen will not be shipped until collection/shipping is paid. 
  • Collection and breeding schedule management available.
  • Stallion contracts, mare owner management and book keeping included. 

 

Breeding Schedule Management for Haul In Stallions is where the stallion owner is responsible for hauling the stallion in for collection when notified of a needed shipment, and that’s it. Direct your mare owners to us, and we will take care of the rest. Flying E will notify the stallion owner when the stud needs to be at Flying E for collection. Flying E will coordinate collection days, shipping times & cost etc with the mare owners.

Collection Training

Collection training is available all spring. The cost of this services varies greatly from stallion to stallion. Some pick it up in just a session or two, some need several sessions. Semen evaluation in included when a stallion is taught to collect. Sessions are $100/hour with a 1 hour minimum per session.

Semen Freezing

Initial, or test freezing uses a variety of extenders to test which one works best with your stallion. If you already know which extender works best, or we have frozen on your stallion before, a routine freeze is sufficient. We no longer offer long term frozen semen storage here on the farm. We can recommend where to acquire your very own tank for storage.

Semen Evaluation

It is recommended to have a stallion's semen evaluated prior to standing to the public. Knowing your stallion's semen quality before hand can avoid a lot of heartache. We can also cool and store the semen and check it daily for motility to see how that stallion will ship and what the longevity of the semen is. This is helpful for stallions that have never been shipped on before.

Semen Shipping

Flying E primarily uses UPS. We only offer overnight shipping. Cooled shipping is $350. Additional fee for Saturday deliveries. Contact us for more information. Same day courier within 250 miles may be available for $400.
